The BEST VEGAN FRIENDLY RESTAURANTS

If you’ve decided to go vegan for whatever reason (or if you just find that the raw vegan diet is simply a heather way of eating) isn’t nice to be able to go and sit down at a restaurant with friends and be able to eat clean?

It seems like most restaurants that serve vegan meals are full of GMO meat and synthetic junk. It’s sometimes hard to find good quality raw vegan food other than a salad at the common vegan friendly restaurant. Even if it’s a fully dedicated vegan restaurant, they can be full of poor, unhealthy and even toxic foods.

Finding ways to avoid eating unhealthy foods while being away from your kitchen can be challenging. Dinning at restaurants that have allergy friendly options and dedicated areas that avoid cross contamination can be beneficial. Especially in indicating a more mindful and heathier restaurant. These types of places usually use chickpea, spelt, almond and other plant or bean substitutes for replacing the traditional flours that contains gluten.

Read on if you’re interested in three ways to find the healthiest options and improve your dinning out experiences while eating a raw vegan friendly diet.

1. Look for dinning that has little or no synthetic foods

Look for terms like In-vitro, clean meat, cultivated meat, lab grown meat, cell-based meat and cultured meat, to avoid synthetic processed cuisines. The ideal is to ensure the vegan entree you are eating comes from real ingredients and not “plant-based”. Plant-based does not ensure all ingredients are real, but on the contrary, the rest is usually full of synthetics.

Usually, the online menu will tell you what the item is made from. Look for descriptions such as beans, roots, fruits, barks or mushrooms for acceptable ingredients.

When eating a raw vegan diet there are certain foods you want to avoid. Items that are described as impossible foods, Beyond Meat, Gardein, Vegetarian Plus, along with any other names that substitutes a food ingredient.

2. Always check the reviews

Check the reviews but don’t always trust the reviews. They can be misleading when it comes to healthiness.

Sometimes when reading reviews, you can get mixed commentary. Thats because every Vegan is not created equal. Just because there are 5-star reviews, this may not mean it’s right for those of you who are looking to eat in a more raw and healthier way.

Look for reviews that focus on a specific meal or meals. That way you can get a good idea of what’s in it, and if its tasty or not. Not all who choose the vegan life are mindful of eating synthetic junk food. Simply looking at the number of 5-star reviews won’t do the trick. I personally look at the reviews to identify something that sounds yummy, then go to the menu and check the ingredients to see if it meets my expectations. I found that using this method has been the easiest and less time-consuming way to narrow down the options.

3. After selecting the restaurant

Unless you just have extra time on your hands, it’s a good idea to give the restaurant a call and ask if they have a dedicated area for preparing their vegan meals (especially if you are eating vegan because you truly don’t believe in eating animal products), before traveling there to find out otherwise. If they do not, you may want to keep looking unless you don’t mind a little pork juice mixed in with your vegan food. All jokes aside, if it does not say on their website “may be cross contamination”. Its best to check and verify. This is also important if you have food allergies.
